We’re raising awareness about the work we do, together with helping a few other organizations and people in town, too! We’re presenting the documentary The Nettle Dress. Here’s the poster:

It’s a beautiful film depicting a man moving through grief as he harvests, dries, spins and weaves nettles into cloth and creates a dress. The cinematography is lovely and the film is very nicely created.
We’re showing this as a matinee and inviting collaboration from organizations and people in town who do something that relates to the theme of the show. We and the collaborators will form a panel at the end to discuss how our work resonates and leads to a wish to preserve the wild places we love.
The movie’s official website contains a 2-minute trailer, if you wish to know more. We hope to see you at the Patricia, Saturday, February 7, doors open at 12.45 pm and movie starts at 1.30 pm. Admission free by donation.
